Do as We Say, Not as We Do
Does anyone remember how the Bush administration refused to allow much needed aid for Hurricane Katrina victims from foreign governments? Isn't it the height of arrogance for Laura Bush to chastise the Myanmar government for refusing to allow aid from the U.S. (and we're offering an embarrassing low level of aid) for their recent disaster?

Why does anything this administration says or does surprise anyone anymore?
I'm not sure. Maybe because I want to believe it can't get any worse. Now I'm really concerned that the idiots are going to bomb Iran before they leave office. A friend said seven years ago that these people were trying to bring on Armageddon to reach the Rapture and I think she was right.
I actually saw a bumper sticker the other day that said "The rapture is not an exit strategy".
It's a good thing I wasn't drinking my chai when I read that, Arlene. It's a good one. Much along the lines of "Bush/Cheney Prison 08," which I saw recently.
I wear my Viggo Mortensen-produced "Impeach Convict Jail" t-shirts proudly, which is dangerous in cowboy country.
